I’ve always had a “typical job” with some kind of side hustle sprinkled on the side.
When I was a teacher I photographed musicians for Alternative Press magazine. This photo gig was a freelance opportunity I landed by messaging one of the editors on MySpace. I was 16 and made $100 for every single photo they used of mine for their magazine.
I’m someone who has never been afraid of hearing “no” - one of the worst things you can do is want something so badly and not go for it!

Social Media Management
About 5 years ago a very small company on Instagram reached out to me seeking help with creating content, building a “theme”, and overall didn’t want to manage their own account. With zero experience at the time, I gave it a shot. I charged a decent amount monthly for me to pour as much passion and love into their account as I do my own. It worked! Throughout the years I have had small companies or bloggers need help with someone posting on their account. Today, I do this here and there but mainly have pulled back to focus solely on my own account.
Instagram Consulting
Since creating Bloggers Live Boston, a female-only blogging and influencer community based all over New England I receive DMs and emails asking for help with Instagram. I realized working in Influencer Marketing and being an influencer myself… I had a lot of knowledge to offer and wanted to help girls feel confident when working with brands and building their social presence.
Media-Kit & Rate Sheets for Bloggers & Influencers
I shared the reasons behind needing a media kit in an Instagram post and quickly had my inbox fill up asking me where and how to make a media kit.
During the start of the pandemic, I was furloughed from my Influencer Marketing job and truly put my side hustles to work. I made over 60 media kits for bloggers, influencers, and small business owners for only $30 - Today, I still make them! So if you’re interested? Just ask!
Wix Website Building (under my husband’s company, Let’s Design Your Site)
Again, with COVID rearing its ugly head I was in a tailspin on how to work off my credit card debt and car payment. It was a blessing to be able to work alongside my husband, Dave at his company, Let’s Design Your Site. After several months I was building Wix websites for clients all around the world.
Now, I am back at my marketing job but continue to work alongside him as a part-time designer. I couldn’t be more proud and thankful for him and the amazing team he's built.

With a background in photography, quality content means a lot to me. Nothing against iPhone photos! I know you got to work with what you have.
I realized that even when I only had 900 followers I could still work with big brands. Maybe I was too small to promote for them but I knew I could create captivating high-quality content for them. To this day there are brands I do not “collaborate” with on social but I have created several images for them for their own marketing usage (email campaigns, social posts, website, etc)
